Welcome from our Principal
At Erina High School, students are at the heart of all we do and one of our greatest strengths is the personal interest and genuine care staff show towards every student.
While our teachers aim for excellent academic results, we place an even greater emphasis on the holistic development of every student. We want all students to feel a strong connection to the school, enjoy their educational journey and strive to be the best version of themselves. The goal is for students to leave school prepared for success in our rapidly changing modern world.
The school has five core values that underpin everything we do - care, respect, integrity, excellence and responsibility. We set high expectations for students and always expect respectful and responsible behaviour.

Mrs A. Farrugia - English
As Head Teacher of English at Erina High School, I am proud to lead a team of dedicated and skilled teachers who are passionate about developing students’ appreciation for language and literature. The study of English fosters curiosity, empathy and strong communication skills as we interact with a range of visual and literary texts. Our faculty is committed to developing students’ critical thinking and creativity, as we aim to inspire our students to think deeply, express themselves clearly, and find joy in stories. Our students also have the opportunity to engage with Drama and Theatre Arts as well as Stage 5 Psychology, which have been very popular. We work collaboratively to design engaging and challenging programs that connect classroom study with our rapidly changing world to help students become thoughtful, articulate, and informed members of their communities.
Mr J. Wade - Mathematics
The Erina High School Mathematics Faculty prides itself on it's desire to ensure all students have the opportunity to learn in what can be a challenging subject to the best of their ability. Delivering programs such as the Peer Mentoring Program and Homework Club the faculty attempts to place the student at the centre of the learning process and provide the support needed to stay motivated and accomplish the goals of growth and understanding. Students should feel challenged but confident in the knowledge that if there are any barriers to learning in this subject there will always be support to find a way through.
Mrs C. Richardson - (Rel) Science
Having been part of Erina High School for eight years, I am proud to lead the Science Faculty—a dedicated team inspiring curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of discovery. We equip every learner with the skills to question, investigate, and understand the world around them, fostering a passion for science that prepares students to engage thoughtfully and confidently.
Our vibrant, hands-on classrooms encourage students to challenge themselves through practical investigations, making Science meaningful and enjoyable. Beyond the core curriculum, we offer Stage 5 electives in Marine and Agriculture, enabling students to explore real-world scientific applications connected to our unique local environment and community.
Mr T. Schofield - TAS

We also deliver VET courses in Hospitality and Construction. Our focus is on developing students’ practical and technical skills, creativity, and problem-solving to prepare them for future careers and real-world challenges. We are fortunate to have excellent facilities, including a commercial kitchen and trade training centre.
