Community involvement
Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.
Erina High School P&C
Welcome to the Erina High School (EHS) P&C!
Your P&C has seen a surge in attendance, with people coming along to meetings to find out what’s happening at our local high school and engage with the executive staff members. This is extremely pleasing to witness.
Each meeting is attended by the Principal or Deputy, where they provide updates and information on school programs, events and the personal and academic achievements of your students.
Current members of the P&C work with the school to provide the students with excellence in education, be it through teacher selection panels, grant writing and generally providing feedback on what is working and what can be improved.
We are fortunate to have such a passionate school executive, that passes their enthusiasm and commitment all the way through faculties and ultimately to our students.
EHS P&C is not a fundraising committee and are most grateful for the continued support provided by parents via the payment of P&C Levies. These funds go back into the school in a manner of ways, with the most recent being the provision of Mobile Phone Pouches to each student at no initial cost.
We will continue to address areas that can benefit the most people, this is all done through consultation with the school community and school executive.
Please come along and get involved. Even though we are allowing our students to become more independent, we can still provide support to them in the background. Allowing them to reach their highest potential. It takes a village!
Pop in for a visit and if you choose, you can join for $2.
P&C meetings
The EHS P&C Association meet each term in Week 3 and Week 8. Meetings are scheduled for Wednesday evenings, arriving at 6.20pm for a 6.30pm start. The meeting is held in the school library, with parking available in the staff carpark (entry off the Ernest St roundabout).
