Transition to High School
Erina High School has an extensive transition program that utilises our strong relationships with our partner primary schools to cater for a wide variety of student needs.
Our students begin their relationship with high school in Stage 2 through fun days run by EHS teachers both within primary schools and here on our campus. Primary Fun Days provide students with a tasteĀ of high school learning and a connection to their future learning environment. Through Primary Fun Days in Years 4 through to 6, students become familiar with EHS teachers and the school environment, making transition to high school less daunting. Year 6 are also invited to EHS for GATS days and Orientation Day prior to starting Yr 7.
Our Year 7 classes are structured to cater for a wide variety of student needs. The planning for these classes begins early in the previous year.
